Scholarship Information
AFP Wine Country Chapter offers the following scholarships:
AFP-WCC Membership Scholarship
The President’s Scholarship underwrites full membership fees for one year for both the Association and the Chapter (a $280 value). To apply, candidates must demonstrate his or her own commitment to professional development in the field of fundraising, must have attended at least one Wine Country AFP monthly program during the past twelve months, and must not currently or previously had membership in AFP. Additionally, the final awardee must be willing to actively participate in one of the Wine Country Chapter’s many committees, and to continue membership in the Chapter after the scholarship year is up.

AFP-WCC Monthly Program Scholarship
The Every Member Campaign Chapter Partnership Grant Program underwrites part, or all of, the monthly program fee for those professionals who are experiencing economic challenges during these tough times. Chapter Members have unlimited access to the funds while they last, and the entire monthly program fee is underwritten (a $15 value). Non-members can apply to attend up to two meetings annually while the funds last, and one-half the cost of the monthly program fee is underwritten (a $12.50 value). These funds are also available to full-time college students, with the entire monthly program fee underwritten (a $25.00 value).

Please Note: Scholarship applications must be received by the second Wednesday of the month for the monthly program applied for, and that no more than four scholarships will be awarded in any one month.
AFP International Conference Scholarship
The Chamberlain Scholarship is a $500 cash scholarship available annually to Chapter Members who have never attended the annual AFP International Conference on Fundraising. This amount can be used towards conference registration or accommodations as the recipient sees fit. Please note that this scholarship does not cover the entire cost of attending the conference, and that scholarship applicants must be able to financially cover the additional costs for attendance.
